For Ron Jarvais Jr., Barrington and Warren aren't just dots on a map—they are home. With family roots running deep in both towns for generations, Ron understands the unique character of our community and the challenges facing the hardworking families who live here.
A lifelong resident of Warren, Ron’s heritage is woven into the East Bay. His father and grandparents were lifelong Warren residents, while his mother and grandmother were raised in Barrington. Today, Ron and his wife are proud parents of two and doting grandparents of two, passing down the values of hard work and community service to the next generation.
A 45-year member of Laborers’ Local 271, Ron is a "union man" through and through. Following in the footsteps of his father and uncle—both 50-year members—Ron understands the dignity of an honest day's work and the importance of standing up for the rights of workers and their families.
When he’s not fighting for his neighbors, you’ll likely find Ron in his vegetable garden, teaching his grandchildren how to grow their own food. He shares his home with his wife of 43 years and two loyal dogs, Bandit the Basset Hound and Ellie the Beagle.
